Louis XIII collaborates with the artist, drawing inspiration from “The Guardians of Time,” to present the Louis XIII 150th Anniversary Art Edition “Being and Time”—a limited-edition masterpiece that distills time into art, with only 150 sets available worldwide, embarking on an artistic journey that calls upon time.
Jiang Qiong Er's “The Guardians of Time” reinterprets Chinese civilization and mythological symbols through contemporary artistic language, building a bridge between Eastern and Western thought and culture. Twelve spiritual beasts guard the history of Chinese civilization and human civilization as a whole, each telling a unique story and evoking a spirit of the times. These mythical creatures, symbolizing freedom, kindness, nature, time, exploration, inclusivity, equality, compassion, courage, wisdom, peace, and authenticity, collaborate with the artist to transform the Guimet Museum into a sanctuary for the soul, reconstructing the spiritual homeland of this era through a sacred, human, and warm approach.
Louis XIII continues its glorious legacy while constantly writing new chapters of inspiration for its vibrant legend, never ceasing to explore new expressions of time. The brand collaborates with artist Jiang Qiong Er, drawing inspiration from the “Time” mythical creature, to co-create the Louis XIII 150th Anniversary Art Edition “Being and Time.” The work takes the form of a “time tunnel,” with the ancient “Time” mythical creature and Louis XIII gazing at each other from opposite ends of the tunnel, engaging in a dialogue between history and modernity.
